This page lists the items that I have for sale, their prices and their availability.
A simple but very efficient device that monitors the onboard (battery) voltage continuously: As long as this is around 13.6 V (± 0.8 V), the charging system is very probably working properly. A red LED is used to signal a voltage that is too low to charge the battery (usually a sign for alternator failure - frequent on BMW airheads), and a yellow LED indicates overvoltage (usually due to a defective voltage regulator - frequent on Honda Africa Twin). The devices come with detailed installation instructions. All units are, of course, tested individually, and the exact display voltages are recorded and delivered with every single unit.
Versions in 6 V are available upon request - same price, same variants.

A variant of the 2-LED voltage monitor, with a 3rd, green LED. It monitors the onboard (battery) voltage continuously and uses 3 LEDs to signal the voltage levels, with appropriate overlap between the 3 LEDs (e.g. red+green means that the voltage is near the low end of the "good" range). As an additional feature, rapid blinking signals extreme conditions — see the videos (12 V and 24 V versions shown):
These units are available in 12 V and 24 V versions and come. of course, with detailed installation instructions. All units are tested individually and the exact display voltages are documented and delivered with every single unit. Currently only available upon pre-order, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

The company Acewell markets "Digital Speedometer Cables" such as the ACE-TA7 and ACE-S11. These can be used instead of the original speedometer cable, but it would appear that these units are compatible only with Acewell's own instruments. To enable the use of these sensor units with other types and brands of speedometers, I have developed the level shifter PS-A which works seamlessly with most of the popular brands of electronic speedometers such as Motogadget, MMB, SIXO, KOSO, Touratech, T+T and Daytona.

The LCM-Tiny is another small device for use with a digital speedo. It allows simultaneous monitoring of the oil pressure switch, over- and undervoltage with a single LED. Here is a video of the device in operation (sound in german, but you have the subtitles ;-):

Automotive power supply connectors and adapters. Since 2009-01, I am the pfranc contact for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, providing plugs and cables for Garmin GPS products to individuals as well as to companies. — Note that pfranc has ceased production: this list shows all items that I still have in stock, even if there is only 1 piece left. If something you need is not on this list, this means that I do not have it.
The following connectors are available according to the "plug for a pledge" principle; the prices are therefore suggested pledges and apply only for orders of 1 or 2 items. If you need more, just ask.

Miscellaneous accessories for your Garmin GPS receiver

|USB-G4||Converter to connect RS232 devices to "modern" computers that have only USB. There are many cheaper units on the market, but this one is guaranteed to work with all Garmin GPS that use RS232 connection. Of course you can use it for any other serial device that need to plug into a COM port: fax/modem, label printer, etc. - Drivers are available at least for Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows7 (both 32bit and 64bit) and Mac OS X; Linux has - of course - built-in support ... which means: plug it in and you're ready to do things like

This circuit prevents a reset of the GPS receiver when the engine is started - for a detailed description, see the corresponding page on this site. The circuit works at least with all Garmin GPS of the "60" and "76" series, and will certainly also work with all GPSr that have similar electrical data such as the GPS 72. As an example, a customer with a Honda Africa Twin used it successfully with a Garmin GPS12; the circuit was simply installed in the line between the original plug (containing a voltage reducer/regulator) and the GPS receiver.

|AT-BP-OVR||Fuel pump revision for Honda Africa Twin, Varadero (carburettor), NTV (carburettor), CBR900RR, Shadow, KTM LC8 (950 Adventure) and many other models. These Mitsubishi pumps are known to fail after some time, usually between 30,000 and 60,000 km. I modify these pumps to avoid contact wear completely; after this modification, the pump should run until the end of life of the bike. |AT-TM-OVR||The tripmaster of the RD04, RD07 and RD07A models is known to fail after many years of usage. I offer both the preventive maintenance and repair service of the electronics of your tripmaster and will also activate the built-in speed display. Outside of Switzerland, parts usually ship via registered and insured mail FCA Lausanne, unless explicitly noted otherwise. - Once the items are in the courrier, I will send you a confirmation with the tracking number of the Swiss Postal Service.
Delivery times depend mostly on your local customs office and postal service. As an example: For shipments from Switzerland to Germany, I have seen anything between 2 days and 4 weeks!
Depending on the value of the goods and your country of residence, it might be possible that you have to pay taxes and/or import/customs fees. These fees are at your charge; I have no influence on that and I certainly do not gain anything here.
Upon receipt, please verify immediately if the item is in good state and fully operational. If something is damaged, you must have your local post office (or whoever delivered the mail) establish an official protocol ("Schadensprotokoll"): If you omit this, I am not able to replace a damaged part free of charge (after all, this is why I'm using "registered and insured mail").
Payment is usually due in advance, but at latest when the items are shipping. You will receive the necessary details with the confirmation of your order.
All goods remain my property until payment for all deliveries has been received in full.
Please note that PayPal charges considerable fees to the seller (starting at 3.4%): Contact me before transferring any amount via PayPal, so that we can figure out the least expensive way.
All parts and services on this page are offered and sold under Swiss law, which usually refers to the Code des Obligations. Unless specified otherwise, you have a 2-year warranty for parts and related services that you buy from me. Shipping costs are always at your charge. - Note that I specifically exclude any further warranty, responsibility or coverage: If you use a part in your spaceship and the device blows up on the way to Mars, I will replace the defective part - and only that part.
